A campaign cannot accept a single shilling until we have verified who is behind it. That gate is enforced in our database, not by policy — an unverified creator simply cannot activate a campaign.
You approve every payment with your PIN on your own handset — Sentefy never sees it. Your contribution can only ever reach the one mobile money number that campaign registered; it cannot be redirected, by us or anyone else. Every payment confirmation is cryptographically signed and verified before it counts.
Your phone number and the amount you gave are visible to you and the campaign organiser — never to other supporters, and never on a public page. Public campaign pages show a display name and a total, and nothing else. Sensitive information is encrypted where we hold it.
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone. There is no password to be guessed, reused, or stolen.
No single contribution can exceed 20,000,000 UGX — a hard limit, refused before the payment starts. Every payment event is written to a record we keep for ten years, so any contribution can be traced years later.
We rate-limit sensitive actions to blunt automated abuse, and anyone — supporter or passer-by — can report a campaign in a single tap. Reports go to a person, not an algorithm.
